Engineering Graphics 1

Beginning level class that introduces students to board drafting techniques and CAD techniques. Students gain an understanding of board drafting, AutoCAD and Solidworks and the role CAD programs play in industrial applications. Students will learn basic engineering design techniques and how this applies to real world applications. Students will gain an understanding of multi-view drawings, pictorial drawings, dimensioning, and how to read technical drawings. Students will focus on 2D drafting techniques.
