Japanese I A

This course develops communication skills through practicing speaking, listening, writing, and reading in various “realistic” situations where Japanese “culture” is interwoven. Japanese I courses aim at fostering students who can “function” in Japan at a basic level within predictable areas of need, using customary courtesies and conventions. Some
appropriate technologies are introduced so that students have opportunities to communicate with Japanese natives.
