Course Description

Algebra II: Financial & Business Applications is a mathematics course that strengthens Algebra II skills through real-world problem solving. Students study functions, equations, systems, exponentials, and data analysis while applying these concepts to authentic business and financial situations.

This course emphasizes modeling, interpretation, and decision-making rather than rote memorization. Students use graphs, equations, and technology to analyze scenarios involving growth, optimization, cost, and risk. The course prepares students for the workforce, technical training, or post-secondary education, and fulfills Wyoming’s Hathaway 4th-year math requirement.
